My name is Mona Fawal and I am the owner and creator of Birthdays in Birmingham. I'm married to David Fawal and have three children, Julia, Alex & Hannah.
 
In the process of trying to plan a 2nd birthday party for my son, I unintentionally became a "guru" to my friends of birthday party options in Birmingham and was prompted to write a book about it.
I published my first book Birthdays in Birmingham in 1997, with updated editions in 1999 and 2001.

As it became difficult to keep the book up to date with current options for parents, I created www.BirthdaysinBirmingham.com in 2003
The website made and still makes it very easy to update listings.

My goal is and has always been to help parents. I work non-stop on updating, looking to add new businesses and helping local businesses create packages that I believe parents would like.

If you come across a birthday party option that I have overlooked, or if you find that a listing is not current, I would really appreciate it if you would let me know. Even in today's technological society, it is still difficult to communicate with some small businesses.
